After early morning breakfast you will be picked up by your guide from the hotel to be ready the park headquarters in Kinigi at 07 am, registering will take place and allocation of gorilla families (done by your guide) as you will be having a cup of coffee and then after you will drive to the trailhead to start your gorilla trekking adventure in the rain forest, this can take from 2 hours to 6 hours depending on how long you take to find the mountain gorillas and after you will spend one hour with the gorillas upon return you will be transferred to the lodge for relaxation.
Clients can book this safari 3 months in advance but can also inquire for short notice safari, this is only difficult by the availability of gorilla permits and golden monkey permits and once permits are available clients are expected to book and pay immediately as it’s the only way to guarantee Rwanda gorilla and golden monkey permits.
Fly in gorilla trekking safari will take you to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park to spend time with the world’s endangered mountain gorillas. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park is home to half of the remaining mountain gorillas in their natural habitat it is approximately 459 gorilla individuals in Bwindi and your visit to this park gives you 99% of seeing the mountain gorillas. On this trip you will fly to Kihihi or Kisoro Airstrip and from here you will drive to Bwindi where you will spend nights having time to trek mountain gorillas.
your driver guide for your trip will pick you from your hotel in Kampala/Entebbe and transfer you to Entebbe Airport for your flight to Kihihi or Kisoro Airstrip from here you will be picked up and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, this drive is long but worth it you will enjoy amazing sceneries and meet up with the local communities along the way.
Drive to the park headquarters for briefing from the Uganda wildlife Authority ranger guides who will allocate you a gorilla family group you will trek that day. Once you have your group confirmed 8 people, the 2 ranger guides will lead you into the thick impenetrable forest to start your search for the endangered rare species of mountain gorillas.
The gorilla search always continues from the place where they were last seen the previous day. Upon reaching the area where these famous species are, you will only be allowed to interact with them for only one hour and you should always keep maximum silence while with these gorillas.
You are allowed to take photographs and so on. In the evening, you may go for community walks in the nearby Batwa community, where you will be entertained and given tales of their unique culture.
Gorilla tracking can sometimes be strenuous depending on the trek that day which is normally determined by weather and the movement of the gorillas in the forest but given the fact it is very well-organized activity you have 99% chances of seeing the gorillas on your trek. The trek is guided by advanced trackers who monitor the Gorilla movements all day in the forest with this they will know where they nested for the last night and that’s where you start from looking for them.
The 2 ranger guides will lead you all through the trek clearing trails, creating new trails and sharing with you information about the mountain gorillas and Bwindi Forest. After the trek you will retrieve back to the starting point to pick your certificates as a sign of successful tracking of mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. You will drive back to the airstrip for your flight back to Entebbe Airport for your departure.
Congo adventure begins at Brazzaville’s Maya Maya International Airport where you enjoy assistance from our tour representative as you transfer to a scheduled light aircraft flight. After a flight time of around two hours, you land at the local airstrip and can sit back on a 4X4 game drive into the Odzala-Kokoua National Park.

After morning breakfast, you will meet the Expert guides who will lead the way on the treks enabling you to spend time with a gorilla family, this is one of west African greatest wildlife encounters as you will come face to face with the western lowland gorillas in their natural habitat after you will return to the lodge for relaxation and later You will also enjoy bird watching in the evening around the camp.

After morning breakfast, you will again meet the expert guides for your second gorilla trekking experience, this will be yet another expedition where you will come face to face with the lowland gorillas and later you will return to the lodge for relaxation and later you will enjoy guided walks to look out for the forest’s most elusive creatures and later return to the lodge for overnight.
